In 2024, the incredible portfolio of watches was once again enriched with a new collection that is a unique alliance of daring and elegance. Patek Philippe’s Cubitus perfectly embodies 21st‑century style whilst preserving the Stern family’s generations‑deep tradition of craftsmanship.
With six references, each model showcases a bold and assertive silhouette. Presenting a square-shaped case with rounded edges, Cubitus’ daring design captures the idea of sporty-chic. Each measuring at 45mm, the timepiece is a striking statement that draws inspiration from the greatness of the Nautilus and Aquanaut. Sophisticated colourways harmonise with meticulously crafted metals and exquisite finishes—hallmarks of the collection’s exceptional design. Patek Philippe elevates the timepiece further with an intricately embossed dial, amplifying the refined yet sporty character that defines the range.
Newly announced at Watches & Wonders 2026, Patek Philippe unveiled the most technical timepiece yet for the Cubitus collection. The first Grand Complication in the range, reference 5840P-001 is a truly complex timepiece featuring a perpetual calendar and a 45mm diagonal measurement platinum case. Boldly designed with an open worked blue dial, the finely laser-cut strips reveal the skeletonised mainplate and bridges of 28-28 Q SQU caliber. Showcasing Patek Philippe’s expertise and magnificent Grand Complication to the fullest degree.
The collection also features stylish cufflinks, each echoing the design of its complementary timepiece. Each pair of cufflinks features the signature square-shaped profile, with a frame and centre that beautifully resembles the colour of the corresponding watch.
