A Warm Welcome Awaits at Langholm Tea Room
Nestled in the Symington countryside in the heart of South Ayrshire, Langholm Farm boasts an impressive beef herd in addition to rare breed sheep, goats, Clydesdale horses, and a diverse flock of hens, ducks and pea fowl, all of which can be appreciated from the car park when you visit the farm’s Tea Room. An eye-catching vintage tractor is also waiting to be admired, in all its blue shiny glory!
Allan and Moreen Baird have been welcoming visitors to the Tea Room since 2008. Not only can you expect first-class hospitality, you can also choose from an extensive selection of hot and cold meals including daily soups, sandwiches, toasties, paninis, salads and baked potatoes. For those with a sweet tooth, the home baking is a must with a range of daily desserts to tempt your taste buds.
To take away, you can indulge yourself with a calorie-free slice of pavlova, a cheeky portion of cheesecake, strawberry or caramel tarts, or a mouthwatering meringue. Not forgetting the famous Langholm pineapple tarts!
When the Ayrshire weather permits, there is ample seating outdoors as well as two summer houses, so you can enjoy your lunch or sweet treat whilst taking in the views of the farm and surrounding countryside.

As well as the Tea Room, Langholm Farm has its very own Farm Shop where you can purchase a huge selection of ready-made meals all made on the premises. A very large selection of homemade soup is also available as well as the top-selling Langholm steak pie. And don’t forget the free range eggs, freshly laid by the farm’s resident hens and ducks.
In true modern, farm shop style, Langholm Farm also has a gift shop and gallery where you can browse paintings depicting, amongst other things, landscapes, seascapes and animals, all painted by local artists. You can also purchase cards handmade by the ladies from the Cat Protection Society.
As if Allan and Moreen aren’t busy enough, they also offer outdoor catering facilities available to collect from the premises. So, whether it’s a simple lunch or a family party, they’ve got you covered.
Langholm Farm really is a one-stop shop and the best thing of all? It’s on your doorstep!
Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9am-4pm (closed Sunday). Lunch is served from 11am-3pm.
