Meet The Owners Of Scentsations Of Troon

I’m Michelle Scott, one of the very proud owners here at Scentsations of Troon. During the Covid pandemic, myself and Shona took ownership of the shop which is a well-known luxury fragrance shop in the seaside town of Troon.

My fragrance journey began in 2004 when I was a store manager with Passion for Perfume, before progressing to area manager. I left that company in 2008 to become the manager here at Scentsations, where I honed my skills and fragrance knowledge being surrounded by so many beautiful brands.

Since revamping the store, Shona and myself have worked hard to maintain the fragrances that the shop has a history of stocking and also to introduce brands that are more bespoke and have limited distribution. Warning – they are ADDICTIVE! We are passionate about fragrance and even more so for providing excellent customer service.

We are so lucky to have such loyalty from our customers and it is imperative to both of us that our customers have a good experience here at Scentsations. For me this is a lifelong dream that has now come into fruition. My journey is made so much easier with the support of Shona, my husband Gordon, family and friends, and of course our customers, some of which are now very good friends.

My name is Shona Bremner. I am co-owner of Scentsations of Troon with my close friend and colleague, Michelle Scott. My journey has taken me full circle, as my first job after leaving college in 2002 as a beauty therapist was joining the staff of The Beauty Box located in Sandgate, Ayr. In addition to this I accepted part-time positions working in the Spa at Lochgreen House Hotel, Troon and in Scentsations of Troon.

In 2020, Michelle and I were given the opportunity to purchase Scentsations and without hesitation we grasped it with both hands.

For the last two years we have concentrated on returning the shop to its core principle of becoming the finest retailer of high quality niche fragrances in the West of Scotland.

We now pride ourselves once again on being the only stockists of fragrances and products not available anywhere else in the country and we are constantly updating our inventory with more exciting and exclusive brands.

The shop has a relaxed atmosphere and our knowledge of fragrances sourced from the four corners of the globe always give us the time to explain the complex nature of perfume construction to both male and female customers. We look forward to welcoming any of your readers to our shop where we can guarantee a truly personal experience into the world of fragrances and match the perfect product to each individual taste.
