Ayrshire Grooming Salon is an award-winning, qualified and experienced Dog and Cat Grooming Salon, operating since 2010 and has been located at 43 Princes Street, Ardrossan since 2019.
Salon owner, Pamela Campbell, has been a qualified Dog Groomer for 15 years. Pamela has been involved in various grooming seminars and demonstrations at Pats Trade Show, the British Dog Grooming Association, to improve standards within the Dog Grooming Industry and is now currently involved in Groom Team Scotland. Pamela is also involved with Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce and Employability Scotland to help and encourage young people to get involved in the grooming industry.
Pamela has also appeared on the BBC documentary, My Kind of Town, to help promote local businesses in the area. During Covid, Pamela was also interviewed by STV to discuss how local businesses were being affected during the pandemic.
At Ayrshire Grooming Salon, you can be assured that your dog or cat will be cared for and groomed to an extremely high standard. All aspects of the Animal Welfare Act are adhered to within the salon. Our staff and students are highly trained and ensure the welfare of your pet is our main priority. Your dog or cat will be cared for like one of our own.
Over the last decade, the salon has evolved and as well as a grooming salon, since 2020, now includes a training school. Various City and Guilds and iPet qualifications are offered for Dog and Cat grooming. Trial days are offered to anyone looking to start a grooming qualification to give potential students a taster of a day in a busy salon. Students are encouraged and supported throughout training and beyond.
For owners who are looking to learn to groom their own dog, we offer one-to-one training. Owners can bring their own dog to the salon and groom to their own specification.
