Converting a hotel back into a home is no easy feat.

Our clients were bold enough to take on this challenge and engaged in our expertise to tackle the transformation.

This type of project comes with some unique challenges.

Before starting on any of the beautiful interior finishes, the first steps were to remove all the commercial structures, furniture and fittings.

The fabric of the building required some maintenance and skilled stonemasonry work.

Not to mention structurally making sure the building was up to date with the most recent building regulations.

Reworking the interior layout has been a designer’s dream. After removing the restaurant kitchen and dining areas, we had lots of space to play with different ideas to meet our clients needs.

The light and airy orangery was the most natural place to home this stunning bespoke kitchen. As this always forms the heart of the home, it was clear to us that this space would be a fantastic area for the family to enjoy time together.

The kitchen is handcrafted traditional in-frame cabinetry, painted in Farrow and Ball Railings, combined with warm natural walnut details and finished with beautiful Dekton Laurent worktops.

Transforming a hotel into a home isn’t a typical renovation; it’s a reinvention. The result is a residence that tells a story — a space with unique proportions, history, and a distinct sense of character.

It has been a complete joy to work on this project with our clients.
