The Park Hotel, Kilmarnock

Ayrshire’s top venue for events and conferences

Opened in 2002, the Park Hotel stands adjacent to the BBSP stadium, one of Scotland’s most modern football stadiums and home to Kilmarnock FC, a club with a proud and successful history.

Much the same can be said about the Park, the design and layout of which remains as fresh and contemporary as the day it opened, thanks in no small part to a programme which has seen significant sums invested to ensure that its facilities have been enhanced and expanded. Amongst the fruits of this programme of investment is the Pavilion, a stylish licensed café which opened in 2022 and serves meals, snacks and drinks in convivial surroundings all day.

Diners at the Park in search of a slightly more formal dining experience with an expanded menu are catered for by the Blues at the Park restaurant, which offers an enticing selection of dishes lovingly prepared by the Park’s award-winning chefs using the finest locally-sourced ingredients, to be savoured within spacious, elegantly modern surroundings.

The Park is renowned as an events venue, and with five function suites it has the ability to host all manner of business, work, social, and family gatherings, including weddings, conferences and seminars, gala dinners, sportsman’s dinners, fund-raising events, and party nights. The Park will also host several Tribute Nights, the ever-popular Ayrshire Does Strictly event, and no fewer than six boxing (Queensberry Rules and Muay Thai) fight nights in 2024.

The jewel in the Park’s crown is the recently extended Caprington Suite, which can now accommodate up to 420 people when configured with a dance floor or 450 without a dance floor. Next up in terms of size is the East View suite, which can host up to 100 diners and, as with the Dean, Wallace, and Earlston Suites, is perfect for hosting a range of small and medium-sized events and functions. But no matter which suite you choose, you’re assured of the same high-quality service from the Park’s catering and facilities staff, as well as being able to enjoy the benefits of a late liquor licence.

For guests staying overnight, the Park has fifty beautifully appointed king-sized rooms, a number of which are configured for ease of access for wheelchair users and the less mobile. There’s also a Bridal Room, where the happy couple can spend their first night together after celebrating their union in front of friends and family.

Those visiting the Park will be delighted to find that it offers free car parking for over 100 cars. Moreover, its location just a few hundred metres from the centre of Kilmarnock, offers quick and easy access to the town’s amenities as well as the road and rail links to the rest of Ayrshire, Glasgow and beyond.

So whether you’re looking to host a conference, have a fun night out, or just fancy having a relaxed meal with your family, the Park has your needs covered.
