“Over the past year our business has grown to include a few companies that are European based. These companies advised that they did not pay VAT on the invoices. I contacted the Tax Helpline via Ayrshire Chamber to ask for clarity. I spoke to a tax advisor who was able to put it into simple terms for me and advise exactly how I should deal with and record my sales. I was relieved to be able to speak to someone who understood my enquiry. I would have no hesitation in contacting this service in the future for clear guidance on any tax queries.”
