Bramley’s
Pet Friendly
120 Main St, Prestwick KA9 1PB
Bramley’s, located in the seaside town of Prestwick, is a favourite spot for locals and visitors to the town who like a vibrant cafe which offers tasty treats galore and the warmest of welcomes. For tea lovers there’s a wide selection of Bramley’s own branded loose-leaf teas and for die-hard coffee fans there’s a guaranteed cup of the good stuff served just how you like it. Iced versions of both are also available throughout the summer.
Libby’s Tea Garden is the latest on-site addition offering a beautiful, dog-friendly outdoor space out back where you can bask in the sun or seek cover in the shade. With seating for around forty and a decked area peppered with brightly coloured chairs, it’s the perfect chill-out space to dine al fresco, regardless of the weather.
Open 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am – 4pm on Sundays, brunches and lunches are what Bramley’s is all about with gluten free and vegan options available to cater for different preferences. Brunches include all the feel-good dishes you’d expect to kick-start your day including hot filled rolls, Eggs Benedict (the classic with crispy bacon, the halloumi with smashed avocado, or the Royale with smoked salmon), sweet or savoury French toasts, a mighty breakfast burrito or the Scottish stack (slice sausage, bacon, haggis, potato scone, black pudding and two fried eggs all piled up high on some toasted sourdough).
Lunches offer an equally delicious choice of satisfying feeds including the ever-popular Cullen Skink which is just the thing to cheer you up on a cold grey day in Ayrshire, and the classic soup of the day and sandwich combo. Sandwiches and toasties with all your favourite fillings and a choice of salads for those days when you feel like something lighter are also available, all made fresh to order. The roasted cauliflower salad with chickpeas, pomegranate and almonds (just one of several healthy vegan options) is a particularly tasty summer special, especially when savoured in the tea garden with an iced tea on a hot sunny day.
Bramley’s is the perfect coffee stop for sit-in or take-away, whether you’re brunching, lunching or treating yourself to a freshly baked scone from the tempting selection of cakes and bakes. It’s a regular stop off for many who pop in whenever they can to support this family run business. Launched during Covid, Bramley’s has not only survived but thrived thanks to the ongoing support from locals and visitors who happen upon it while strolling down the bustling Main Street in Prestwick.
