With a team of twelve top chefs led by Executive Head Chef, Ian Conway, delivering inspired, seasonal menus which celebrate the best of the Ayrshire coast and surrounding farmland, you can look forward to the freshest, highest quality ingredients prepared and served with flair. Dinner in the beautiful Bisque Restaurant offers a thoughtfully curated menu of dishes such as whole sole ‘meuniere’ with shrimps, lemon, capers and parsley brown butter, asparagus and epicure potatoes; classic dishes with a modern touch which celebrate the best of the season. With breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all-day menus running (alongside a special Children’s menu and a separate Sunday menu) you can enjoy fine dining Parisian brasserie style at any time of the day and at any age, no matter the occasion.
The Copper Beech Cocktail Lounge, the newest jewel in the Lochgreen crown, is the more relaxed dining option and from 12 noon to 4.30pm it serves up a menu of lighter bites which includes salads (such as the classic Caesar), soups (including langoustine bisque), sandwiches (you have to try the Lochgreen club sandwich), all day brunches (the classiest eggs in town) and of course the magnificent afternoon teas for which Lochgreen is famed. With views overlooking the grounds and out to sea it’s the perfect place to sit and enjoy meticulously presented and outstandingly delicious food in surroundings which reflect the same style and timeless grace you’ll find in the Bisque Restaurant.
Outside of the times when light bites are being served you can enjoy quality teas, coffees and picture-perfect patisserie in the Copper Beech Cocktail Lounge making it the perfect destination for formal or informal meetings at any time of day. After 5pm you can enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapes and after dinner you can return to relax with a coffee, a cocktail or a rare dram in hand, as you’re whisked back in time to the grandeur of a glorious by-gone era.
